So after all that build up, the stop starts of the campaigning due to the tragic events in Manchester and London we find out in the small hours of tomorrow morning what government will be taking our country forward.

We all want issues brought up, and rightly so. After all, the elected members of parliament work for us.

Do they ever really put our best interest at heart? Well as the legendary Bob Marley said, you can’t please everyone all the time, but they sure as hell try to fool many of us.

Whatever happens, or indeed whoever happens there’s massive issues that affect us all.

Not just brexit, but policing, education, health, social care – which is obviously where the rising issue of homelessness comes in.

The amount of rough sleepers has risen too much over the last 5 years or so.

Having met some, they are of completely different ages, nationality, race and gender.

I honestly struggle to imagine how I would cope in the thunderstorm gathering strength outside my comfort zone. I have nothing but admiration for how they get by, and even more for the many who help them.

Let’s hope that we can begin to have a society and indeed a government who will not fail as much as it has done for far too long.

Who knows what tomorrow brings?
